Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using ImpliedLens ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ImpliedLens is a stock-research workspace that provides provider-sourced market and company data, derived metrics, editable models, and tools for saving and reviewing an investment thesis. Current research providers are Yahoo Finance, Finnhub, SEC EDGAR, FINRA OTC Transparency, Stooq. The platform is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account or subscribe.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abuse, or are used for unauthorized commercial scraping.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Pro subscriptions are billed through Stripe at $7.99 per month or $60.00 per year in USD. The 30-day free trial applies to the selected billing period. A valid payment method is required. You will not be charged during the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, Stripe charges the selected rate and the subscription renews on that interval. Promotion codes, when available, can be entered in Stripe Checkout.

You may cancel at any time through the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — we do not offer prorated refunds for partial periods, except where required by applicable law.

Pricing changes will be presented before they apply, with any notice required by applicable law or the billing terms shown to you.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically download data from the platform for commercial redistribution.
• Attempt to circumvent plan limits, CSRF protections, or rate limits through automated means.
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations (including securities laws).
• Attempt to access another user's account or data.
• Reverse-engineer the platform or any API responses beyond normal browser use.

6. Intellectual Property

The ImpliedLens platform, branding, and codebase are proprietary. Third-party data remains subject to the rights and terms of its providers, including Yahoo Finance, Finnhub, SEC EDGAR, FINRA OTC Transparency, Stooq. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or commercialize provider data obtained through the platform except where the applicable provider permits it.

7. No Investment Advice

All content, analysis, and data on ImpliedLens is for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing here constitutes investment advice, a solicitation, or a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Past performance data shown on the platform is not indicative of future results. You are solely responsible for your investment decisions.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Market data may be delayed, incomplete, or contain errors. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ImpliedLens and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including any investment losses, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

Applicable law governs these Terms. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived. Contact us first at support@impliedlens.com so we can try to resolve a concern.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised terms and update the date above. Where law requires additional notice or consent, we will provide it.
